1st International Congress on Paratraduction, Interlinguas and Transmedia

Congress held in face-to-face and online formats

The 1st edition of the International Congress on Paratraduction, Interlinguas and Transmedia (ParatradIT), to be held in 2024 at the Faculty of Philology and Translation of the University of Vigo, aims to be the first scientific event in a series that, over the years, will study the prevailing social, cultural, political and, above all, technological circumstances for translating between languages (interlinguas) in the era of transmedia narratives on and off screen.

Organized by the Research Group TI4 Translation & Paratranslation (T&P) of the University of Vigo in collaboration with the University of Córdoba, it will be held both in face-to-face and online formats from 20 to 22 March 2024. The languages of the congress are five: Spanish, Galician, French, English and Portuguese. We invite you to take part in the sessions that will take place during the three days of the Congress.
